There is a special retreat happening that we wanted to share with all of our readers. Not only are we all about supporting other causes and businesses that we are passionate about, but we’re also advocates for balance in the way we live and move our bodies. Although you may think Hot Yogi Moms is synonymous with high energy (which we are) we also know the importance of rest and returning back to the self.
Our amazing & talented friends Nicole and Samantha are hosting a Yin Yoga Immersion Retreat in the Woodlands of Idyllwild, California. Truly a picturesque escape in the heart of nature.
What is Yin Yoga? While it is similar to restorative yoga, Yin Yoga focuses on passive postures, and longer holds. You stay close to the ground and do a lot of opening, lengthening and resting. Yin usually incorporates props, and breath work of some kind, to help unite the body and the mind also.
Yin Yoga is such a treat for the body and the mind. It is especially necessary for those who take part in high intensity workouts and need to reset, restore and reconnect.
I cannot think of any other teachers I’d rather do a Yin retreat with than Nicole and Samantha, who really are experts at their craft, and have studied, practiced, and taught so many their passion and knowledge. They have been trained by some of the most renowned teachers and are offering a Yin certification as part of this retreat! A HUGE bonus for any teachers/aspiring teachers!
ABOUT THE RETREAT:
November 2-5 Idyllwild, CA
The Woodland Sanctuary: A Yin Yoga Retreat
This offering is for all — from the curious beginner to the evolving teacher. We do want to start emphasizing that this is for aspiring Yin teachers, too. No Yin experience is required to attend, but we have a certification option. We provide current & aspiring Yin teachers the option of a 20h Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Unit (YACEU) certificate (additional fee: $200).Â
Accommodations, food, classes & workshops are all provided at the most charming cabin. Grab your besties and make it a sleepover for the soul.
Pricing & other information can be found here.
However, there is only one ROOM left at the chalet. It is a 4 person bedroom so you could book it as a group of friends!
Whether or not you can attend this retreat, we highly recommend following their social pages for such great insights relating to all things yin, reiki, and wellness. You can find Nicole @auluminatereiki and Samantha @radiaterest and who knows maybe we can align our stars and partner with them for a retreat in 2024!
As always we are so grateful for each of you and this amazing and uplifting community.
XOXOMMM,
Jillian & Samara
